SLAIUM

Graduating from the Malaysian Institute of Art in 1996 with a diploma in advertising, he began his career as a computer animator before joining Kadokawa Gempak Starz (KGS) in 2002 as a full-time cartoonist. In 2012, his creative contributions expanded to include planning, storyboarding and screenwriting for the sci-fi adventure label ‘X-VENTURE’, which includes the ‘Primal Power’ (Seasons 1 & 2), ‘Dinosaur Kingdom’ (Seasons 1 & 2), and the ‘Exobot Academy’ series. A household name in Malaysia, his creative impact is now being felt by readers in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, China and Japan. As Chief Editor of the Comic Department he oversees the publication of the company’s creative commercial content.
